Youth fisheries training center (Gyomin Dozo) during the Japanese occupation.
Fisheries Service School
Following the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence, the official Fisheries Service School was established.
Fisheries Development & Training Project
Initiated by the Department of Agriculture in collaboration with UNDP / FAO.
Fishing Skills Training Center (BKPI)
Operated in Tegal City as BKPI, specializing in advanced fishing skills and techniques.
Fisheries Education & Training Center
Transformed into an integrated Fisheries Education and Training Center.
Fisheries Training & Extension Center
Renamed BPPP Tegal, focusing comprehensively on marine training and extension programs.
Public Service Agency (BLU) Status
BPPP Tegal was officially designated as a Public Service Agency (BLU) by Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 526/KMK.05/2021 on December 29, 2021.
